The District 2 is just adjacent to the District 1.  As you would have guessed, only the District 1 market building is older than the District 2 building in the Yiwu Market.  Since its commission in 2004, this side of the market has evolved to house over 8,000 storefronts, all of which are large sourcing groups, including China Telecom, China Mobile, and Wal-Mart among others.  The kinds of products you get at this side of the market include lights, luggage, watches, hardware tools, and so on.  Now, let’s take a closer look at the specific products available in the district, and the easiest way of securing them.

Right after District 3 lies the huge District 4 of the Yiwu Market.  With about 1,080,000 square meters of land mass, occupied by over 20,000 suppliers, this is the largest among the five blocks, either considering the number of booths or the size of the district.  Thousands of buyers and visitors worldwide are always surfing this part of the Yiwu Market for the highest quality of small items at best possible prices.  The large turnout of buyers – both domestic and international – is due to the affordable prices of the products, which is a direct implication of the fact that these items are manufactured by the most competitive industries in the Yiwu locality.

  1. International Trade Mart District 5

 

Situated north of Yinhai Road, south of Chengxin Avenue, east of the District 4, and the west of 37 Provincial Highway, accessing the Yiwu Market District 5 has never been easier.  This side of the market commands a total investment of 1.42 billion Yuan spread across 640,000 square meters of land.  There are about 7,000 booths, located on the five ground floors and two underground floors.  District 5 is renowned for imports primarily, so if you are looking to get automotive supplies and accessories, knitting materials, textile, bedding, and other import goods, this is where to check.

There are a couple of centers of attraction in the International Trade Mart District 5. However, the imports pavilion remains the biggest.  Situated on the first floor, the imports pavilion takes up about 100,000 square meters of new business area, compared to the original import commodity pavilion.  The continuous Canton fair associated with the International Trade Mart has helped it to form a blend of negotiation, exhibition, and business in the International Commodities exhibition center, and this is a crucial aspect of Yiwu Market’s internationalization development strategy.
